Car Alarm Systems

Ever since the first documented car theft in 1896, car manufacturers have continually devised more sophisticated car alarm systems intended to protect the car from thieves. Cars have become the thieves’ common target since they are valuable and easy to resell. On that note, it is no surprise why the demand for car alarm security systems is on a constant rise. In fact, new car models are now equipped with the best high end car alarm system that include sophisticated electronic sensor, remote-activated signals, and blaring sirens.

The basics

Generally, a simple car alarm system would just include one or more sensors connected to a siren. The simplest form of car alarms has a wired switch attached to the driver’s door, so that when someone forces the door open the siren will be triggered. This type of car alarm system can be easily integrated with the use of wires, a switch and a siren.

But since thieves have become more knowledgeable about bypassing the standard types of car alarms, newer and more advanced systems have been introduced like the remote car alarm system. Modern car security alarms often consist of an array of sensors along with motion detectors and switches. The new car siren is now capable of producing a variety of distinct sounds so that the owners can easily distinguish the alarm of their car. In addition, modern car alarms are already using wireless control from the key fob with the use of a radio receiver. An auxiliary battery is now being utilized so that the alarm still continues to operate even if the main battery has been disconnected. The modern alarm’s computer control unit is considered as the ‘brain’ of the system, which is responsible for monitoring and controlling the car’s alarm.

Car Alerts

Today, high-end alarms, such as the viper car alarm and tenon car alarm, offer an effective security system that aim to deter thieves from stealing the car. However, no matter how sophisticated your car alarm security system is if it does not set off an efficient alarm signal it won’t do you any good. An efficient car alarm system should produce alarm signals at the moment the sensor have indicated an intruder. Most car alarm systems would produce irritating noises to call the attention of the owner by honking the horns or producing a unique siren alarm. Some alarm systems are wired on the car’s ignition starter which will automatically shut off once an intruder has been sensed by the alarm. Others cut off the gas supply or disable car operation by other means.

Investing on high-quality and reliable car alarm security systems is a must to ensure your car’s safety. Therefore, start finding the best car alarm system available and protect one of your most priced investments!
